Improve the Look of Your Smile with Quality Dentures
If you are missing teeth, you may not want to smile in front of other people. Whether your teeth were lost due to trauma or severe decay, the team at Fairhope Cosmetic Dentistry has treatment options to help you.
If you are not a good candidate for dental bridges, dental crowns, or dental implants, you may be a good candidate for dentures. Even if you are a good candidate for the other options, perhaps you simply prefer dental dentures. Dr. Boles and his team are excited to be able to provide residents of Spanish Fort with full and partial dentures.
Dentures are an effective and affordable option for tooth replacement. Whether you need to replace three teeth or all of your teeth, we will make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Can People See My Dentures?
Many patients share the same concern. Dentures are constructed well and other people will never be able to tell you are wearing any. Dentures fit in your mouth just like natural teeth, so you can eat and talk normally. In addition, Dr. Boles can match your dentures to the color of your natural teeth.
Replace Missing Teeth with Partial Dentures
If you are missing a couple teeth and have most of your permanent teeth still left in your mouth, you may be a good candidate for partial dentures. Partial dentures are a great option because they can be custom made to fit in between your natural teeth.
When you have partial dentures, no one will be able to tell they are in place. The base of the partials are gum colored and the dentures secure into place using a metal frame that hugs your permanent teeth.
Get a Beautiful Smile with Full Dentures
If you are missing most of your teeth or all of your teeth, full dentures provide you with a solution. If you are interested in full dentures, Dr. Boles can discuss them with you.
There are two options available including conventional or immediate dentures. Depending on your preference and mouth, one may be a better option over the other.
Immediate dentures are placed in your mouth shortly after your teeth are removed. Since your mouth is not healed yet, the dentures will need to be adjusted throughout the process to make up for bone loss and shrinking.
Conventional dentures are made using impressions and molds AFTER your gums are fully healed. This process minimizes how many times you need to have the dentures corrected, but you must wait a few months before they are placed.
We Offer Implant-Retained Dentures!
If you are worried about slippage and irritation with traditional denture care, Fairhope Cosmetic Dentistry is proud to offer you implant-retained dentures. Implant-retained dentures are fixed into place using dental implants that click into your dentures to create a stable foundation for your teeth. This option is ideal for anyone who is worried about loose dentures!
